Trouble is brewing within the Philadelphia Eagles after they dropped their Week 6 Thursday Night Football game to the New York Giants, 34-17.

Following the loss, wide receiver A.J. Brown was asked about the “meeting” he had earlier in the week with quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley; however, he exposed his team after repeatedly saying he had no recollection of the meeting.

“I don’t recall a meeting,” Brown said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. You gotta go talk to them.”

The Eagles’ Offense Can’t Seem to Get It Together

Brown also had a concerning comment about the Eagles’ offense.

Aaron Glenn Isn’t the Guy… And the Jets Know It ?

“We’re still trying to find our identity,” Brown said.

Philly’s offense struggled to find its rhythm and failed to score a point in the second half for the second straight game.

With most of the action happening in the first two quarters, Hurts finished the loss, completing 24 of 33 passes for 283 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Brown had six catches for 80 yards while Barkley rushed 12 times for 58 yards.

Hurts did his part in taking all of the blame, but those watching know all three phases played a part in the defeat.

“I gotta be better,” Hurts said. “I gotta be better. I take ownership for it. A lot of it’s on me, and a lot of opportunity there with the ball in my hands. And then given those situations, have to be wiser and more detailed with it. Always looking inward first and looking inward on the things I can control. I see a lot of opportunity in this. I give a lot of credit to how they came out and played today. They played a very, very, very well game. And it wasn’t good enough on our end.”

The Eagles will take the weekend to reflect on their back-to-back losses before returning to the practice field on Monday to prepare for their Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
