REVEALED: Lady Vols basketball list of top players that are set to LEAVE the team has been revealed by…

The Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball team has experienced significant roster changes during the 2024–25 season, with several key players departing the program. These departures have impacted the team’s composition and performance.

Rickea Jackson: A standout forward, Jackson was selected fourth overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Her departure marked a substantial loss for the Lady Vols, as she had been a pivotal player during her tenure.

Karoline Striplin: The forward entered the transfer portal in April 2024, seeking a new opportunity for her final season of eligibility. She subsequently transferred to Indiana, leaving a gap in the Lady Vols’ frontcourt.

Jasmine Powell: A senior guard, Powell graduated and departed the program, concluding her collegiate career with the Lady Vols.

Tamari Key: The redshirt senior center also graduated, marking the end of her tenure with the team.

These departures have prompted the Lady Vols to seek reinforcements through the transfer portal and recruiting efforts. Notably, the team has added several transfers to bolster the roster:

  • Samara Spencer: A senior guard from Arkansas, Spencer brings experience and scoring ability to the backcourt.
  • Lazaria Spearman: A junior forward from Miami (FL), Spearman adds depth to the forward position.
  • Rapuluchi Ayodele: A senior forward from Pittsburgh, Ayodele is expected to strengthen the team’s presence in the paint.
  • Alyssa Latham: A sophomore forward from Syracuse, Latham provides additional versatility and depth to the frontcourt.

These additions aim to address the gaps left by the departing players and enhance the team’s competitiveness in the Southeastern Conference.

The Lady Vols’ coaching staff, under the leadership of head coach Kim Caldwell, continues to navigate these roster changes, focusing on integrating new players and maintaining the program’s tradition of excellence.
