Former Guns N’ Roses Drummer Frank Ferrer Breaks His Silence Following Exit from Band After 19 Years..

Frank Ferrer, the longest-serving drummer in Guns N’ Roses’ history, has publicly addressed his departure from the band after 19 years. In a heartfelt statement shared on Instagram, Ferrer expressed deep gratitude for his time with the iconic rock group. He acknowledged the overwhelming support from fans and peers, stating, “The outpouring of love I have felt from the incredible fans of Guns N’ Roses and my peers over the past 24 hours has been tremendous.” While he conveyed immense appreciation for frontman Axl Rose and the band, Ferrer also expressed some “disappointment that this chapter came to an end.” He concluded by thanking management, the crew, and fans, stating, “I hope I see you all again soon.”

Ferrer joined Guns N’ Roses in 2006, initially as a temporary replacement for Bryan “Brain” Mantia. His tenure spanned nearly two decades, during which he contributed to the band’s rhythm section on tours, including the Not in This Lifetime… Tour. He also played on tracks from the 2008 album Chinese Democracy and the 2022 EP Hard Skool.

Following Ferrer’s departure, Guns N’ Roses announced Isaac Carpenter as the new drummer. Carpenter, known for his work with bands like AWOLNATION and A Perfect Circle, joined the band for their 2025 “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour, which began on May 1 in Incheon, South Korea.

Ferrer’s departure marks the end of an era for Guns N’ Roses, but his legacy within the band remains significant. Fans and fellow musicians continue to celebrate his contributions to the band’s enduring success.
