Driver Movements:

  • Noah Gragson: After the closure of Stewart-Haas Racing, Gragson will drive the No. 4 Ford for Front Row Motorsports in 2025. This marks his third team in as many full-time seasons.
  • Ty Dillon: The grandson of Richard Childress will join Kaulig Racing, piloting the No. 10 Chevrolet. This move represents his seventh full-time season in the Cup Series.
  • Cole Custer: Returning to full-time Cup Series competition, Custer will drive the No. 41 Ford for the Haas Factory Team. He previously won the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
  • Michael McDowell: McDowell will transition from Front Row Motorsports to Spire Motorsports, taking over the No. 71 car on a multi-year deal, replacing Zane Smith.

  • Corey LaJoie: LaJoie will drive part-time in the Rick Ware Racing No. 01 car (formerly the No. 15 car) after a seven-race stint in the No. 51 car for RWR in 2024

Retirements:

  • Martin Truex Jr.: The veteran driver announced his retirement from full-time competition at the end of the 2024 season. He plans to run select races with 23XI Racing in 2025.

Team Changes:

  • Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR): The team announced its closure, leading to the displacement of drivers Noah Gragson, Josh Berry, Ryan Preece, and Chase Briscoe. These drivers have secured positions with other teams for the 2025 season.
