Police charged Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Josh Brent with intoxication manslaughter Saturday after he
flipped his car in a pre-dawn accident that killed teammate Jerry Brown.
Irving police spokesman John Argumaniz said the accident happened about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the Dallas suburb,
hours before Brent was to be on a team flight to Cincinnati for the Cowboys’ game Sunday against the Bengals.
Josh Brent, a defensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys, was charged by police on Saturday with intoxication
manslaughter after he flipped his vehicle in a predawn collision that claimed the life of colleague Jerry Brown.
According to Irving police spokesperson John Argumaniz, the accident occurred in the Dallas suburb at around 2:20
a.m. on Saturday, only hours before Brent was scheduled to board a team jet to Cincinnati for the Cowboys’ game
versus the Bengals on Sunday.
