For instance, the tragic death of promising player, Janice Chisholm, in a car accident in 2021, was a significant loss. Similarly, the passing of former tennis star and Hall of Famer, Billie Jean King’s long-time partner, Ilana Kloss, in 2023, marked a deeply emotional moment for the sport.
