Rafferty is another one of Portsmouth’s champions and an accomplished campaigner with around 400 EFL games under his belt.
With the exception of a four-year Championship stint with Preston North End and two League Two seasons with Rochdale, the right-back is primarily a League One regular and is well-versed in the level.
The 30-year-old has played in 39 of Pompey’s 46 third-tier games and still has a lot of talent to offer.
Given the dearth of full-backs in the lineup, Rafferty and Yiadom would be excellent starting options on the wings.
Vincent Kane Young
The 28-year-old, who helped the Tractor Boys return to the Championship in 2023, was a highly respected full-back with Colchester United and Ipswich Town. Given his injury situation, he might be a left-field possibility.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who scored Shrewsbury Town’s opening goal in the 3-2 comeback in November, is well-known to Reading supporters this season. He was well-liked at Croud Meadow.
The former England junior international, who came up through the ranks at Coventry City before moving to Preston in 2019, contributed five goals in 35 League One appearances as Paul Hurst made sure the Shrews stayed in the third division.
With a keen eye for a goal and a ton of experience at the level, Bayliss would be a wise addition for nothing.
