Essendon has added another year to Kyle Langford’s contract, becoming the eighth Bomber to be locked up until at least the end of the 2027 season.Already under contract for the next three seasons, Langford signed Nic Martin, Zach Merrett, Xavier Duursma, Ben McKay, Peter Wright, Mason Redman and Darcy Parish to long-term contracts.The 27-year-old expressed his delight at extending his time in the red and black, further supporting the “vision” of flexing coach Brad Scottand.”I have enjoyed my last nine seasons with the Bombers and I am delighted to have extended my contract to stay at the club until the end of 2027,” Langford said in a club statement.”I agree with Brad and the coaches vision for the team and the potential of this group of players.
