Former Middle Tennessee football coach joins Seminoles staff

The former Middle Tennessee head coach has joined Florida State’s football staff as director of criminal intelligence, the school announced Monday.Stockstill has spent the past 18 seasons at the helm of Middle Tennessee and the football program. He was fired after the Blue Raiders went 4-8 in 2023.andquot;I am pleased to add Rick Stockstill to our coaching staff,andquot; Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell said. andquot;He brings a tremendous amount of football knowledge and experience to the position and will play an important role in the preparation of our staff.andquot;The Blue Raiders went 113-111 and played in 10 bowl games under Stockstill.
