Done deal: 4- familiar faces are now set to join Florida State this weekend at…

Florida State will host a recruit on campus this weekend with a familiar last night to Seminole faithful.

Highland Home (Ala.) Auburn four-star LB commit Jakaleb Faulk shared on social media that he intends to visit Tallahassee this weekend. He’s the younger brother of former FSU target and current Auburn defensive lineman Keldric Faulk.

Keldric Faulk was at one point committed to Florida State — choosing the ‘Noles over other options like Auburn and Florida during the summer of 2022. He was pledged to FSU up until National Signing Day for the 2023 recruiting class when he flipped to the in-state Auburn Tigers in dramatic fashion.

FSU has been involved in Jakaleb Faulk for over two years. They were the first power five program to offer him a scholarship in January of 2022. He joined his older brother on several visits to Tallahassee in 2022 but did not make it to campus last year.

Faulk, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 225-pounds, is the nation’s No. 124 overall prospect and No. 12 edge rusher in the country.

He was a two-way player as a sophomore for Highland Home, which went 11-2, getting snaps at LB and WR. Totaled 79.5 tackles (13 TFL), a sack and an interception on defense while catching 16 passes for 356 yards and 4 TD on offense.

Faulk also plays basketball. As a 10th grader, he helped Highland Home go 28-5 and make Alabama’s 2A Final Four — scoring 16 points in semifinal against Mars Hill before fouling out.Mobile (Ala.) Williamson offensive lineman Carde Smith was offered by Florida State today, and the blue-chip talent also informed Noles247 that he plans to visit FSU on February 3 for the Seminoles’ final Junior Day event before the dead period begins and runs through the remainder of the month.
