Done deal: Florida State have finally win the race to sign a young utility player from…

Florida State Football is looking for good guys as the program tries to move forward after missing the College Football Playoff this season. The program signed their head coach Mike Norvell to a contract extension after former Alabama football coach Nick Saban retired. The purpose of this change was to prevent Norvell from leaving Florida for Alabama. The plan worked, and now the Seminoles are looking to the future and how to build a 14-1 season that ended with an embarrassing 63-3 loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl.Florida State football was left out of the CFP this season despite a 14-0 record and an ACC title. One of the reasons the CFP committee cited for why Florida State missed the playoffs is their offensive woes in the ACC title game. Florida State lost quarterback Jordan Travis to injury for the 2023 season and the Seminoles struggled without him. Here are two players who could help add depth to Florida State’s squad if the program finds itself in a similar position in 2024.JUST SAYING and#039;Julian Sayin is a defender with great potential. The young man was no. 3 in the ESPN 300 (2024) and was in favor of Alabama. When Nick Saban retired, he decided to leave the stage. Sayin has already started classes in Tuscaloosa and must use the transfer portal despite being a freshman.Sayin threw for 2469 yards with 24 touchdowns and only one interception in 2023 at Carlsbad High School in California. This is an impressive statistic that will undoubtedly turn heads. Head#039; is a five-star prospect who could add a lot of depth to the Seminoles’ quarterback room, especially with Travis no longer eligible and Trevor Jackson now on the team. Sayin has unlimited potential and talent and could easily compete for a starting spot on the first day of practice despite being a freshman.Sayin had a relationship with Florida State football even before he decided to commit to Alabama in 2023. The school offered Sayin along with several other power 4 programs. Florida State should definitely work on this young man to get him to Tallahassee.JAMEER GRIMSLEYWhen Nick Saban retired, a lot of talent decided to leave Alabama with him. As mentioned, Sayin was one of those abilities. He wasn’t the only one. Another big-name player sitting out Saturday afternoon’s transfer window is former four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley. Grimsley is actually from the state of Florida; a homegrown talent that could continue to help the Seminoles defense.Clearly, Florida State already has a great defense. Up until the Orange Bowl, the team was shutting down opposing offenses with ease. But Florida State did get exposed badly against Georgia, giving up 63 points in a bloodbath. If Florida State wants to compete against top SEC schools in the CFP, it should definitely use SEC talent to reach that goal..
