Report: Jurgen Klopp frustration with VAR as Liverpool boss gives verdict on…

Jurgen Klopp indicated his disappointment with two VAR choices that saw objectives chalked off for Liverpool as they beat Burnley 2-0 on Boxing Night.

Objectives at one or the flip side of the game from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota were enough for the Reds to jump Arms stockpile at Turf Field and start to lead the pack at the highest point of the Head Association.

Anyway Klopp’s men had an objective in every half from Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott precluded, first for an evident foul from Nunez and Charlie Taylor and afterward one more for Mohamed Salah remaining in an offside position.

Ref Paul Tierney checked with the pitch-side screen prior to concluding that Salah was obstructing goalkeeper James Trafford’s eye-line and Klopp concedes the calls were hard to take, even in a night when his group went top of the table.

“The objective for Darwin was as significant [as the second],” said Klopp. ” Once more, cody scored, Harvey scored a unimaginable objective and they simply remove it, it’s incredibly extreme. Yet, we dominated the match and it’s all fine.

“I was truly content with the main half. We had about 80 shots in the previous three games, and today we may have had over 100 in four games, which is insane. I don’t know how many finishes we had today.
