Reading Receive Backing Of Fellow League One Manager for…

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson believes Reading are in the wrong position heading into this afternoon’s League One game.
It’s been a season to remember for the Royals, who have been given a total of four point deductions due to off-the-field antics.
This means they have lost a total of 10 points since the beginning of the year, and their relegation to the third division was confirmed in May.

The Berkshire side have been struggling at the bottom of the table, but a small recent resurgence has lifted them out of the bottom three.
They have recorded three wins and only one loss in their last six league matches.
This afternoon they travel to Weston Holmes Stadium to take on one of the most in-form teams in the division.
In stark contrast, Peterborough are in the automatic promotion ranks, chasing league leaders Portsmouth.
After Sheffield Wednesday overcame a 4-0 deficit in last season’s play-off semi-finals to reach the penalty shoot-out, manager Darren Ferguson has decided to remain at the club in the summer.

The 51-year-old took nothing for granted when Reading came to town and praised fellow coach Ruben Seles.
Speaking ahead of the game, manager Posh said via Peterborough Telegraph: They’re playing really good football and the manager is coaching them well, Sam Smith, Lewis Wing.
, Harvey Knibbs, there are so many talented players at this level that I don’t understand why they would struggle.
“Whatever position they were in, they were going to give us a very tough game.
” Reading recorded a 2-1 win at London Road in what was then Division Two.
It’s been 22 years since then (currently in League 1).
Author’s Opinion Despite the ongoing trauma off the field, Ruben Seles has done a great job of keeping his team competitive this season.
The fact that they are currently outside the relegation zone, despite everything thrown at him, is a testament to the belief he has shown in his young team.
They have had good wins against Wigan Athletic and Carlisle United in recent weeks and should have escaped with three points against Lincoln City and Sincil Bank earlier this month, but their away Things have been poor and Peterborough may prove too strong this afternoon.
