Mauricio Pochettino claims he “never” thought managing Chelsea would be “this difficult” after a wasted defeat against Wolves left the Blues languishing in 10th place.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted ahead of Wednesday’s game against Crystal Palace that Chelsea’s job was tougher than he expected.

“We knew this year was going to be tough, but it never turned out to be that tough,” Pochettino said.
