Ipswich Town head coach Kieran McKenna has confirmed that Tottenham are in talks with the Championship side over the call-up of Dane Scarlett in January.
Scarlett is seen by many at Spurs as a future first-team candidate, with Ange Postecoglou admitting he liked Scarlett after seeing him at training ground in August.
A decision was taken to send the teenager on loan to Ipswich in an attempt to get some game minutes, but it didn’t work out for the 19-year-old.

I think there’s a very good chance he’ll be recalled.
“Tottenham are currently having injury problems and their main striker (Son Heung-min) is also due to head to the Asian Cup in early January.
